The Theory of Everything

Good day fellow Lloydalists!

Finally some validity to a faint rumor we'd heard a couple months ago. We are glad to have confirmation that Harry will be taking part in "The Theory of Everything", slated to be released in 2015.

According to Cambridge News, film crews have taken over the Backs in Queen’s Road this week to shoot The Theory of Everything: The Story of Stephen Hawking.

They set up on Monday to film the new biopic which stars Les Miserables heartthrob – and Cambridge graduate – Mr Redmayne as the legendary scientist.

Dozens of vans have descended on the colleges along the Backs near the professor’s Newnham home to shoot the film directed by James Marsh, of Man on Wire fame.

Parking restrictions are in place and parts of the green spaces have been taped off on Queen’s Green, near the scientist’s Newnham home.

The film is said to examine a turbulent period in Prof Hawking’s life, starting in 1963 when he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease while studying for his PhD at Trinity Hall, Cambridge.

A spokeswoman for the production company confirmed the film was being shot in Cambridge this week.

Here are a couple pictures that have been released. Lloydalists will keep you updated as news trickles in as it inevitably will.
